A Great Food Program For Missoula Preschools

I was in Missoula Montana and I came across a preschool that took a very active approach to keeping our kids healthy by implementing a healthy diet into their food program. Origins Preschool is one of the top performing preschools in Montana and even more impressive is how eco and health conscious the daycare is. This childcare facility cares for infants, toddlers all the way up to 5 year olds. I had a great time watching how the teachers of this school interact and play with the kids in a very fun and educational way.

Children all over America are being fed unhealthy food that contributes to health problems they encounter as adults. If we take the time to encourage healthy eating and get them used to eating more nutrious food, they will likely carry on the better eating habits into adulthood. The obesity problem in America starts with our kids. We as adults are responsible for our children. If so many parents are unwilling or simply are not aware of the harm we are doing to our kids by feeding them unhealthy food, we need the schools to get involved and try and leave some impact on the diet of our kids. Starting early with a good preschool that will feed organic nutritious food is a huge step in a good direction.
