Fat burning foods are sometimes refered to as negative calorie foods becuase they require more calories to digest then the nutritional value contained within them. Your body uses energy to digest food, if the energy used to digest them is higher than the energy contained in them, then they are considered fat burning or negative calories food. By eating these fat burning foods, more calories are lost than gained. Negative calorie foods can relieve the feeling of hunger when added to one's diet without greatly increasing total caloric intake. A diet consisting of negative calorie foods is unhealthy because the body will not get sufficient caloric intake. Fat burning foods are mostly fruits and vegetables. While not being true fat burning foods, lean protein rich animal foods are great for burning fat, your body requires more energy to process protein then carbohydrates. Fiber rich foods help you limit the number of calories consumed because they allow one to feel full thus preventing you from over eating. Some examples of fat Burning Foods Are the Following:
